Hi, Niflhaim,
Here is a look at how I envision Joshua Candle. Please tell me what you like, what you don’t like, etc. I will revise him according to your description. Hope you like it!

Yes, I agree with Mrs. Helen, My Lord — I mean, Sir.
I’ve edited all the postings about Harry Potter. There will be no spoiler anymore, so this blog is now clean and safe to read by anyone. I think we have to give a chance to those who read the book slowly. No need to rush, right?
Surt, if you can finish a book with 759 pages long in one night, you are NOT a normal kid, hA-hA-hA!

I’m asking Loki, not you, Surt.
And why do you keep calling me ‘Lord’ anyway? Please, stop it. You kids are embarrassing me.

But My Lord! We can’t just delete all of them! I mean… no one can blame us for fast reading, right?

Loki, I need you to delete all the postings related to Harry Potter’s book. Helen Whitehead, the editor of KidsOnTheNet.com told me that we shouldn’t spoil anyone who hasn’t read about The Deathly Hallow.
Here’s what she wrote to me…
“All I can say is I’m glad I finished Harry Potter just before I looked around your project - your blog is full of spoilers: I won’t refer any children to it for that reason. You could spoil someone’s day!
Helen Whitehead
Editor, Kids on the Net”
Can you see how angry she was? Delete all of them now.

No, my child, Joshua couldn’t cast any magic spells. As Niflhaim said, he’s just an ordinary boy with nothing to be proud of. And as much as we want to follow Mrs. Rowling’s idea of wizardry, we couldn’t.
You see, the manuscript we’re writing right now has nothing to do with wizardry. The only characters who can cast magic spells are Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the reindeers.
We also have created new characters… “The Ancient Reindeers.”
These reindeers have lived for over a thousand years. Now, they must do something before the North Pole collapse, or they will extinct for all eternity.

Joshua is our main character in this book, along with Santa. His name is Joshua Candle. A boy with nothing to be proud of, but soon he’s going to change someone’s mind.

P.S. Note to all members of this blog, maybe we should place our signature at the end of our posts (if you don’t want to place your name as the title post), so that people could easily understand who’s who. Thank you.

Since Santa is going to take Joshua to deliver the gifts to around the universe, I need you to add the boy in your illustration. Thanks, Valerie.

No problem, Mrs. Gail, I’ll revise the illustration for you in no time. A flying wooden roller coaster with Santa. Okay.

Great one. Now, can you change the roller coaster into a wooden? Just to make sure that Santa is riding an environmentally-friendly vehicle.
Oh, and can you erase the rail, please? We want this roller coaster to fly free. Thanks!

Okay, here’s my first sketch on the first illustration! Tell me, what do you think? Of course, this is only the first draft. We could always revise and edit the illustration if you wish…

Niflhaim is right. We must finish our Christmas book project on time, no matter what people are saying. Besides, we’re writing for children, and they deserve their own world — full of imagination.
Where’s your Christmas spirit? We’re going to publish Santa’s novel here!

Who can blame them? No one. Who cares about them? Not me.
You see, if we stop moving forward just because some people doesn’t like our idea, there will be no dreams come true.
Hey, not everyone love Harry Potter, but look at J,K Rowling stands right now. If she quits her dream back then, after being rejected for twelve times in a row by twelve publishing houses and forced to wait a whole year to read all the rejection letters, there will be no Harry Potter for us!
Those wise guys, who gives you all the negative comments won’t go anywhere. Those kind of people will always be around you no matter what you do. So why should you listen to them? You shouldn’t.
Trust me.

If you think this will be the last of Harry Potter, you are wrong.
What Mrs. Rowling said was just a temporary statement of overwhelmed feeling. She will change her mind. She can say anything she wants to the world right now, but when the time comes, she will change her mind for sure.
Don’t get me wrong, I really love the story. Dark and full of deaths, just like me. I’d hate to see him gone this fast. Besides, it would be my greatest pleasure to see someone in the Slytherin House slaughter the Gryffindor students one more time.
Mark my words; Harry Potter, the boy who lived, will return. 10 years or 50 years, it doesn’t matter. I will wait no matter how long.

My Lord, what do you mean with; “This will not be the end of Harry Potter”?
‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ is the last book of the series. J.K. Rowling said that all the time.
