Hey, you got a point there, mate!

In that case, I’ll have 2 copies of Harry Potter; one from the Amazon (which my folks already bought weeks ago) and one from my local bookstore tomorrow!

At the usual, Surt? The Waterstone’s?

Why bother to pre-order? For me, I better go to my local bookstore and buy Harry Potter tomorrow. Trust me, it’s sooo much better if you can feel the atmosphere!

You can make new friends, chat with fellow fanatics, you can even yell and no one will be mad at you! If you just wait in your room for the book to come, where’s the fun???

What? You haven’t place your order yet? You got to be kidding! I mean, the whole world is already waiting anxiously for Harry Potter to arrive at the front door!

The day of what, my Lord?

Thank you, Valerie.

I really enjoy wring story for kids. It’s like part of my life. I am known around New England because of having traveled with my ventriloquist dummies to various churches.

And I’m sure, with your illustrating skills, you can dazzle all the children in the world. :)

Nice to meet you too, Valerie.

Umm, no, you don’t know me, Lady Valerie. I’m just a servant of Lord Niflhaim, who always live deep under the sun.

No one knows me. :)

Valerie

Okay, Loki. Brilliant. Say, do I know you? :)

Hi Lady Valerie, you may upload all your illustrations on this blog and make a new post for each of the file, so we all can see your amazing sketches “before and after”.

And, to make it easy for people to read our blog, I think we should use our own names as the title of each post we make. Like this post I just did.

After all, we are in conversation, so we should start the conversation with a name, right?

Just a thought.

Got It.

July 15, 2007

Okay, I got it. I will sketch the character first and give you the raw material soon.

The Book Cover

July 14, 2007

First, I need you to draw for our book cover.

I want you to imagine Santa riding his ‘LookinFast’, with the kids at midnight. With the moon and the stars as the background.

What do you think, Valerie?

What Is The First Illustration?

July 12, 2007

The next thing I need from you is your description of the first illustration you desire, as well as character descriptions (how you picture them, etc).

We can start with this first and continue from there.

I Trust You, Valerie.

July 11, 2007

Thank you, Valerie. I trust all the illustrations in your hand.
